Privacy Policy
Last updated Jul 26, 2026Zogo Distro, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as Vertio operates vertiostudio.com and the Vertio applications (the "Platform"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who uses the Platform — Viewers, Creators, Buyers, and visitors. It does not apply to third-party services we link to or integrate with, which have their own policies.
1. What you give us
Account information — name or handle, email address, hashed password, profile photo, bio, and links. Creator information — legal or business name, mailing address, tax identification number, identity verification, payout account details, performer releases, and age-verification records. Purchase information — items purchased, transaction history, billing address, and partial card details such as the last four digits and expiry. Content you upload, including videos, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and metadata. Communications — support tickets, feedback, reports, and appeals. Interactions — comments, likes, follows, watchlists, and ratings. Integration credentials — encrypted third-party AI provider API keys, for Creators using the Studio. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers; card data is collected directly by Stripe under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations.
2. What we collect automatically
Device and technical data — IP address, device type and identifiers, operating system, browser, language, time zone, and screen dimensions. Usage data — episodes viewed, watch time and completion, search queries, referring URLs, clicks, session timestamps, and crash and performance logs. Approximate location derived from IP address, used for content licensing, regional restrictions, fraud prevention, and tax determination; we do not request device GPS. Cookies and similar technologies, as described below.
3. What we get from others
From payment and payout providers — transaction status, refunds, chargebacks, and verification outcomes. From identity and age-verification providers — pass or fail results and limited attributes. From authentication providers, if you sign in with Google — your name, email, and a unique identifier. From publicly available sources, where relevant to fraud prevention or rights enforcement. We do not use advertising partners and run no ad-tech pixels.
4. How we use it
To provide the Platform — create and manage your account, stream Content, process uploads and transcoding, deliver purchases, and enable publishing. To process transactions — take payments, issue receipts, calculate revenue share, and send payouts. To personalize — recommend series and episodes, remember your place, and tailor the feed. To communicate — transactional messages such as receipts, security alerts, and policy updates, and marketing where you have consented. To moderate and enforce — review reported Content, detect prohibited material, verify creator eligibility and performer age, and enforce our terms. To secure and prevent fraud — detect abuse, bots, artificial engagement, account takeover, and chargeback fraud. To improve — analyze usage, debug, and develop features. To comply with law — tax reporting, recordkeeping, and responding to lawful requests. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information or your Content to train our own AI models without your separate, express consent.
5. Legal bases for EEA and UK users
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies we rely on: contract, to provide the Platform, process purchases, and pay Creators; legitimate interests, for security, fraud prevention, product improvement, moderation, and non-intrusive analytics, balanced against your rights; consent, for marketing, non-essential cookies, and any special-category data, which you may withdraw at any time; and legal obligation, for tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements.
6. The Studio and your provider keys
If you connect your own AI provider account, your keys are encrypted at rest and used only to execute actions you initiate; we do not display them back to you in full and never share them with other Users. Your prompts, reference images, and generation requests are transmitted directly to the provider you selected, and once transmitted that data is governed by that provider's privacy policy and retention practices, not ours — we encourage you to read them and to use settings that limit training on your inputs. We log metadata about Studio activity — timestamps, model selected, request status, and error codes — for debugging, abuse prevention, and usage display. We do not receive your provider billing details and cannot see or control what your provider charges you. You can revoke a key at any time in your account settings; deletion removes it from our systems within 30 days, including backups on our normal cycle. Questions: inquiry@vertiostudio.com.
7. Who we share it with
Service providers acting on our instructions — Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database and authentication, Mux for video storage and delivery, Stripe for payments and payouts, and our email, support, and moderation tooling. They are contractually limited to processing on our behalf. Other Users — your public profile, handle, avatar, published Content, and public interactions are visible to others; Creators receive aggregate, non-identifying analytics about their audience and do not receive Buyers' email addresses or payment details. Payment networks, as necessary to complete transactions. Rights holders, when we forward a DMCA notice or counter-notice, which may include your contact information as the law requires. Legal and safety recipients — to comply with law or lawful requests, to enforce our terms, to protect rights, property, or safety, and, in cases involving child sexual abuse material, to NCMEC and law enforcement. Acquirers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or notice of any change. Anyone you direct us to share with.
8. Cookies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are strictly necessary — authentication, session management, security — and which cannot be disabled; functional, for preferences, language, playback settings, and resume position; and analytics, to understand usage and improve the Platform. We run no advertising or measurement pixels. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.
9. How long we keep it
Account data — for the life of the account and 30 days after deletion. Content — until removed by the Creator, subject to buyer access, backups, and legal holds. Transaction and tax records — 7 years, as tax law requires. Age-verification and performer records — as applicable law requires, including 18 U.S.C. § 2257. Moderation and enforcement records — 3 years, to enforce repeat-infringer and safety policies. Server and security logs — 90 days. Backups — overwritten on a 30-day cycle. After these periods we delete or anonymize the data.
10. Your rights and choices
You can access, update, or delete your account information in your account settings, or by emailing inquiry@vertiostudio.com. You can opt out of marketing through the unsubscribe link or your notification settings; transactional messages cannot be opted out of while you hold an account. You can close your account at any time. If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local supervisory authority.
11. US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information; to opt out of sale, of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of certain profiling; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the last twelve months we have collected identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet and network activity, approximate geolocation, audio-visual information in the Content you upload, professional information from Creators, inferences drawn for recommendations, and — for Creators — government identifiers used for verification and tax reporting, which are sensitive personal information used only for the purposes the law permits. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Privacy Rights Act. To exercise any of these rights, contact inquiry@vertiostudio.com; we will verify your request and respond within the time the law allows, and authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization.
12. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. In the EEA and UK we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 without parental consent. Users aged 13 to 17 may hold an account only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and content rated mature is restricted to Users aged 18 and over. If we learn we have collected information from a child under these ages we will delete it promptly. Parents and guardians may contact inquiry@vertiostudio.com.
13. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit and at rest, hashed passwords, access controls and least-privilege permissions, logging, and periodic review. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and the relevant regulators as the law requires.
14. International transfers
We are based in the United States and may process information in countries with different data-protection laws. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum, with supplementary measures as needed. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards at inquiry@vertiostudio.com.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, our service providers, or the law. We post the revised policy here with a new date. If a change is material — a new category of personal information, a new purpose, a new category of recipient, or a change in retention — we will give notice by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before it takes effect, and where the law requires it we will obtain your consent before applying the change to information already collected. Continued use on or after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
